“This was my first hunt and wow! My son got me to go elk hunting with him and we got one! My first hoofed critter on my first elk hunt with my son, in just greatest setting. We got to skin the elk and then 1/4 it all first for me. The lodge/outfitter and staff vastly exceeded my expectations. "My experience at R & R Ranch with Jeff and Shari was truly one of the best! The accommodations were excellent as was the food! Hunting was better than hoped for. " Over the years I always wanted to take my wife to a place that I hunt. The places I could afford were either unaccommodating or uncomfortable. R & R had it all at a very affordable price. With a total of five ladies there, my wife had a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend Jeff & Shari's R & R Ranch to anyone of any age and of most any physical condition. The weather being a major factor all tags may not be filled but I guarantee you will enjoy the stay. Jeff's personal attention was very appreciated. Most places you are assigned a guide that may or may not give a hoot and you will not see the outfitter again. "Thanks for a wonderful experience! The patience and knowledge everyone shared with me for my first hunt to that area was great. I learned so much about local animals and hunting in that area from the guides and Jeff. The country is spectacular and very peaceful. The level of comfort that you guys provide at the lodge along with the facilities to handle the game was amazing. Everything I could have wanted was provided. " I had the pleasure and honor of spending the forth hunt at R & R Ranch because of friends and connections through the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
